The Westminster Sunday School had a blast working on some “Pebble Art” together this past Sunday. Dee Robertson organized the craft and proves once again that something amazing can come from the simplest of materials with a bit of passion and creativity. Enjoy the photos of the artwork below …
On Sunday, November 6th, the children and youth at Westminster United Church created cards of thanks to send to the Veterans in our community. They were mailed today…..
“I just want to say how very touched I was by the words that the youth and children wrote on each card as they addressed them to these brave men and women who have served our country!
Thank you Sunday School and Youth Group! I am so proud of you for offering our gratitude to the Veterans…. and for helping us to all to remember and give thanks…on November 11th…” – Brenda Curtis
“What a wonderful evening we had at the Annual Church Fowl supper. The event was so well-planned and coordinated. Although it is obviously a lot of hard work for a lot of people, it draws the larger community into our church. And, for those of us no longer able to contribute a great deal, it is even more appreciated. We are fortunate indeed to have so many people able and willing to make our church such a warm, welcoming place. I am inordinately proud of us all.
Sincere thanks to you all.” – Dee Robertson
